Celebrating their 10 years of Mercurial speed, Nike has decided to release a premium limited edition boot – the SL. With about 450 pairs available (in SG and FG), in one offered color combo, this boot is super limited. Technically, the shoe is not a MVIII or a MVIV, but its own separate model. However, as any Mercurial fan can observe, it has many similarities to both models. What makes this boot premium is the materials used to build this amazing boot.
The upper of the boot is constructed of a one piece carbon fiber material. Carbon fiber give the boot the combination of strength and lightweight speed.
The graphite reinforced heel gives solid protection and comfort, avoiding any type of slippage.
A graphite chassis with multi-directional traction studs directly injected gives it ultimate flexibility and speed.
